Alice Meek

Alice Meek, LAT, is a valued member of the Outreach Athletic Training Program at Southwest Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics since January of 2025. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Alice graduated from Stratford High School, where she first discovered her passion for athletic training while serving as a student athletic trainer.

She continued her education at Baylor University, earning her Bachelor of Education in Athletic Training. Alice brings more than three decades of experience to the Southwest Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics team. Before joining the program, she served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at University High School for 18 years and later as the Athletic Trainer at Midway Middle School for 11 years, positively impacting generations of student‑athletes across Central Texas.

Alice is married to Robert Meek. Together, they have two children—Lucy and Jacob, a daughter‑in‑law Jessica, and a granddaughter, Clare, who keeps the family joyfully busy.
